Obituary of Lela Jeane

Lela Lampin Jeane, age 92, of Longview, Texas, former resident of Merryville, La for 67 years passed away July 3, 2017 in Longview, Texas. Funeral services will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Deridder Friday, July 7, 2017 at 11:00am with visitation beginning at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Merryville Cemetery. She is survived by two daughters, Virginia Averitt of Merryville, Judy Maddox of Longview, Texas; two sons and daughter-in-law, Bill and Pat Lampin of Tyler, Texas and Jimmy and Jessie Lampin of Longview, Texas, daughter-in-law, Sandra Lampin and 84 grandchildren. Lela celebrated 6 generations this year. She is preceded in death by one son, James Lampin and one grandson, Kevin Lampin. Pallbearers will be, Jeremy Lampin, Cory Maddox, Bradley Lampin, Jessie E. Lampin, Jody Lampin and Bryce Maddox.
