Obituary of Evelyn Moore

Evelyn V. (Warren) Moore, 79, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at St. Patrick's Hospital in Lake Charles. Mrs. Moore was born on February 23, 1931 and had resided in DeRidder her entire life. Survivors include her husband, Larry Moore; sons, Joe Warren and wife Kay of DeRidder, Wayne Warren and wife Anna of DeRidder, Billy Warren and wife Wanda of Deridder, Ronnie Moore and wife Wendy of DeRidder and Gary Moore of Leesville; one daughter, Sissy Avery of Leesville; and her sister, Bertie Golightly of Oregon; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 30, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel at Hixson Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2010 with the Reverend Kinnis Smith officiating.
