I believe that Evelyn was double blessed in her life. She had 2 men that loved her. The 1st gave her 3 sons and helped her grow up. The 2nd grew old with her and they took care of each other. I feel double blessed today, because I was loved by my mother-in-law, and now I am the mother-in-law and have the privledge of loving my daughter-in-laws. There is a book called, "To A Child Love is spelled T-I-M-E. But it doesn't just apply to children, it applies to everyone you love. I know if Evelyn was here today, she would tell us to take time with your loved ones. If you are blessed to have someone love you, spend time with them. If you are blessed to have many people love you, spend time with them and let them know how much you love and appreciate them. On behalf of the family, Thank you for your time here with us today, Thank you for the flowers, food, and words of comfort. Please keep us in your prayers in the days to come. Our hearts are happy today because she is no longer in pain, but our hearts are sad because she is gone. (from the funeral service July 31, 2010)
