I have had the pleasure of working with Mildred as a 4-H member in the 4-H Office as she worked there for many years as well as an adult working with her on the Fair Board. She was a pleasure to work with and always a joy to spend time with. She will be missed by many. Darrell and Marry, praying for you and your family in your time of loss.

I had the pleasure and privilege of knowing Mildred for over 35 years and had the honor of being the first registered nurse she called to help her set up the criteria for the Healthy Baby Contest for the Beauregard Parish Fair. I also helped judge these beautiful, healthy babies for a number of years. Mildred was a dedicated person...whatever task she undertook it was a quality job and usually with the outcome she hoped to attain. Mildred always greeted me by name and with a smile. I do not know any of Mildred's family, but I wish the family peace at this time.
