Obituary of Kenneth Frederick Morrow

Kenneth Frederick Morrow, 32, of DeQuincy, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013 from terminal cancer. He was the son of Vincent 'Buddy' Morrow and Gail Morrow, of DeRidder. He graduated from South Beauregard High School in 1998 and went on to receive an Associate's Degree in Instrumentation from Sowela Technical Institute. He worked for Allometrics, Incorporated. Kenneth was an avid outdoorsman and life-long fan of the New Orleans Saints. He was a loving son and brother, faithful husband, caring father, and generous provider to his family. He was kind and well-loved by all who knew him. He was always willing to lend a hand to others, and will always be remembered for his hearty laugh and big smile. He is survived by his wife, Ashley, their sons Ivan and Clayton, and his step-daughter Emma. He was also father to the late Jack G. Morrow. Other surviving family members include his sister, Peggy Morrow-Findley of Lexington, KY; brother, Garrett V. Morrow of Lake Charles, LA; grandmother, Mary Morrow of Longville LA; grandmother, Patricia Miller of DeRidder, LA; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family would like to welcome guests for visitation on Sunday, October 20, 2013 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm in the chapel of Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Visitation will continue from 11:00am until time of service at 2:00pm at Magnolia Baptist Church in Ragley, LA. Brother Kelly Craft will be officiating. Internment will immediately follow on the grounds of Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley, LA.
