Obituary of Laverne Mitchell Crow

Laverne M Crow, 86 of Merryville, LA went to be with the Lord Monday, March 24, 2014. Laverne was a retired Nurse at Merryville General Hospital. "Granny's "favorite past times were cooking for all of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Buddy Neely and Brady Crow; Parents, Wiley and Carie Mitchell; Sister, Verna Mae Cloessner. She is survived by her Son, Dr. LaRay Davis and his Wife Lorna; 3 Daughters, Judy Gale Slaydon, Cheryl D. Arnold, and Geneva Brock; Brother, Truitt Mitchell and his wife Linda Jay; 10 Grandchildren; 1 4 Great Grandchildren; 4 Great- Great Grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday from 5-9 P.M. Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 10 A.M from the chapel of Hixson Funeral Home with Brother Jason Fortenberry officiating. Interment will follow at Merryville Cemetery.
