Obituary of Wanda Delores Burnett

Wanda Delores Burnett, 71, of Starks, Louisiana entered eternal peace on Sunday, June 15th, 2014 in Sulphur, Louisiana. She enjoyed fishing, camping, singing, yellow and red roses, and taking vacations, but her true love was her family and Bingo. Mrs. Burnett was preceded in death by her parents, Eldridge and Lillie Smith; four brothers, Elvis Smith, Eldridge Ray Smith, Joe Smith, and Kenneth Daigle; and two sisters, Evelyn Martin and Loretta Rainwater. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory are her husband, Jeston Burnett of Starks, LA; four sons, Dennis Wayne Doyle, Tony Dale Doyle, Lonnie Doyle Jr and his wife Ramona , and Timothy Doyle and his wife Brenda all of Starks, LA; one daughter, Connie Doyle of Starks, LA; one brother, George Smith and his wife Linda of Alvin, TX; one sister, Debbie Smith of Conroe, TX; one brother-n-law, Mitchell Martin of DeQuincy, LA; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, June 17th, 2014 at 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at First Pentecostal Church in Starks, Louisiana. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 18th, 2014 at 2:00 pm at First Pentecostal Church in Starks, Louisiana with Reverend Roy Hoosier and Reverend Karl Smith officiating. Interment to follow at Dry Creek Cemetery in Dry Creek, Louisiana.
