Obituary of Talmadge Quinin Chance

Talmadge Quinin Chance, 84, of DeRidder, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Friday, June 5th, 2015 in DeRidder, Louisiana. He was a World War II Veteran, served in the Korean Conflict and served his country for 6 years. He was Baptist by faith. Mr. Chance was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ollie Ward Chance; seven brothers, FC Chance, Cecil Chance, Wesley David Chance, Wilburn Chance, Huey Chance, Floyd Chance and Allen Chance and one sister, Lerah Jane Masters. Those left to mourn his lose and cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Free Chance of DeRidder, LA; one son, Patrick Chance of Frisco, TX; one brother, CL Chance and his wife Wanda of Anacoco,LA and numerous extended family and friends. Visitation will be on Monday, June 8th, 2015 at Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and then on Tuesday, June 9th, 2015 from 9:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA. Arrangements under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home, DeRidder, LA.
