Obituary of Willie T. Farrow, Jr.

Funeral services for Bro. Willie T. Farrow, Jr., 41, of DeRidder will be held on Saturday, June 19th at 2:00 p.m. at Starlight Missionary Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA with visitation being from 1-2 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Beauregard Cemetery under the direction of the DeRidder Funeral Home. On Wednesday, October 31st, 1979 Brother Willie T. Farrow, Jr. was born in Ft. Polk, LA to the late Willie T. Farrow Sr. and Azzie L. Taylor Farrow. God called him home on Friday, June 11th, 2021. Bro. Farrow accepted Christ at an early age with a baptism by Rev. Daniel Stafford in DeRidder, LA. He was a May 2000 graduate of DeRidder High School. Willie was also a faithful employee of the DeRidder Walmart where he dedicated 14 years of his service until his health began to fail him. He was a member of Starlight Missionary Baptist Church. His favorite scripture was Philippians 4:13, “I Can Do All Things Through Christ Which Strengthens Me.” He was also a loving and devoted Son, Brother, Father and Friend. Willie leaves to cherish and celebrate his memory: His sisters, Wynette Farrow of DeRidder, LA and Aundrea Scales (Clyde) of Houston, TX; Son, Kayden Bailey of DeRidder, LA; Niece, Adrianna Scales of Houston, TX and Nephews, Jairus Scales, Julian Scales and Tristian Scales all of Spring, TX; Aunts, Sammie Ware of Orange, TX, Elenora Charles, Cynthia Taylor, Gayle Taylor and Sandra Hubbard of DeRidder, LA, Brenda Charles of Scott, LA, Annie Thomas of Grambling, LA and Shirley Mourning of Shreveport, LA; Uncles, Robert Taylor of DeRidder, LA and Roosevelt Thomas of Shreveport, LA and a host of other family and friends.
