Obituary of Kathy Roshto

Funeral services for Kathy Roshto, 66, of DeRidder will be held at the DeRidder Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Steve Willingham officiating. Interment will be at the Hinson Cemetery in the Knight Community following services under the direction of the DeRidder Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 3rd, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday, May 4th from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Kathy was born on October 20, 1954 in DeRidder, Louisiana to G. C. and Ray Hinson Self. She passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021 in DeRidder, Louisiana. Mrs. Kathy was born and raised in DeRidder. At the age of seventeen, she married the love of her life Joe Glenn Roshto. She loved to play bingo and gamble. She loved spending time with her family and her bingo buddies and loved the Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe G. Roshto and brother, LaRue Self. She is survived by her daughters, Kayetha & husband, Michael Wilson of DeRidder and LaConda White of DeRidder; parents, G. C. and Ray Self of DeRidder; brothers, Anthony Self and & wife Teri of DeRidder and Ferlon Self of DeRidder; grandchildren, Maliah Verdin, Brey & husband, Elliott Reeves, Aaliah Hawkins & husband, Jadarius and Artisha Cross and great-grandchildren, Blane Verdin, Tavion Lynch, Cambrey Reeves, Jaivion Hawkins and Zayne Roshto.
