Obituary of Lora Marie Martin

Graveside services for Lora Marie Mulig Martin, of Lake Charles will be held at the Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. Services are under the direction of the DeRidder Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 27th from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the DeRidder Funeral Home. Lora was born on December 2, 1943 in DeRidder, Louisiana to Thiloh Elmer and Edna Mae Ford Mulig. She passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 in Beaumont, Texas. Lora was a member of the Senior Circle and enjoyed playing cards and Bingo with her friends. She loved to travel and went on many exciting vacations with her family. Lora treasured spending time with her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence “Buster” Martin; grandchildren, Andrew, Allan & Arthur Ferguson; brother, Thiloh Wayne Mulig and sisters, Mildred Bailey, Neva Peckmore and Alberta Withrow. She is survived by her son, Chris Martin and wife Laura of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Dorena Ferguson of Beaumont, TX; brother, James Dale Mulig of Jena, LA; sister, Carrol Rieder of Dayton, OH; four grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
