Memorial services for Julie Scanlon Cornish of DeRidder will be held at the DeRidder Funeral Home on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 5:00 P.M. Julie was born on December 4, 1933 in Danby, New York to Robert and Marguerite Daniels Scanlon. She passed away on March 3, 2021 in DeRidder, Louisiana. Mrs. Cornish loved playing bingo. She is survived by her children, Machelle Rogers of Bossier City, Sue Wehn & husband, Michael of DeRidder, Shane Cornish & wife Amy of Stevenson, Washington and Rick Cardonia of Bend, Oregon; brothers, Carl Scanlon of NY and Clarence Scanlon of FL; sister, Lury Wallenbeck of NY; step-children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of foster children.. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Aubrey Cornish, daughter Louise Wagley, grandchildren, Atom Cornish, Heather German and Stacey Elston, great grandson, Tristen Nichols, two sisters and four brothers.
