Obituary of Kenny Shirley

Funeral services for Kenny Shirley, 73, of DeRidder will be held at the DeRidder Funeral Home on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Dalton Isbell officiating. A private burial will be held under the direction of the DeRidder Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the DeRidder Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Kenny was born on February 17, 1948 in DeRidder, LA to Ezra and Berline Shirley. He passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021 in DeRidder, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara “Sis” Shirley; and siblings, Dorothy Stracener, Jenny Cooley, Hubert Shirley and Gary Shirley. He is survived by his daughter, Renae Young and husband Billy of DeRidder; siblings, Sharla “Shorty” Goodeaux and husband William, Sheryl Shirley and William “Bud” Shirley and wife Nancy; grandchildren, Michael Morrow and Jaime Stephens and husband Josh; great-grandchildren, Jaylon, Tatum and Aubrey and a host of nieces and nephews.
