Obituary of Euiell Leroy Sitton

Euiell Leroy Sitton of DeRidder, LA, passed away 1-27-2020. At the home of his son surrounded by his loving family. He was born 10-12-1936 to Euiell and Nellie Sitton in Stillwater, OK. Leroy was an X-Ray technician at Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder, LA for 30 years and Byrd Memorial Hospital in Leesville, LA for 10 years. After his retirement, he became a “role player” for Cubic on Fort Polk, LA. Leroy enjoyed reading, fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with his family. He is survived by his son Terry (Amy) Sitton of Swartz Creek MI, his granddaughter Brittanie Sitton of Austin, TX, his grandsons Cody and Zachary Sitton of Swartz Creek, MI, his nephew Randall Sitton and his niece Sandy Sitton of Houston, TX, brother Willard Sitton, sister Margaret (Marvin) Gongre, his sister-in-law Carla McMullen of Amarillo, TX and many friends. He was proceeded in death by his parents Euiell and Nellie Sitton, his wife Charlotte Sitton, his son Barry Sitton all of DeRidder, LA and his sister in law Ruthann Sitton of Beaumont, TX. Graveside service will be at 12:00 p.m. on February 8, 2020 at Beauregard Memorial Cemetery in DeRidder, LA In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA.
