Obituary of Melvin Lee Frazier

Funeral services for Melvin Lee Frazier, 64, of DeRidder will be held at the DeRidder Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 10 A.M. with Rev. David Burks officiating.  Interment will be at the Lewis Cemetery, in DeRidder, LA following services.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M at the funeral home.

Lee was born on February 10, 1955, to Owen Melvin and Ruby Lee Loftin Frazier in Ft. Riley, KS.  He passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019, in DeRidder, LA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandpa; Reginald Lee Loftin.

The last nine months of his life was the happiest with his new bride, Pat.  Pat showed him what a real marriage is.  He was an avid hunter and master woodworker.  He was a supporter of the National Federation of the Blind and was a member of The Tribe Motorcycle Club.  He loved his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Frazier of DeRidder, LA: son, Lee Allen Frazier of Lake Charles,LA; brothers, Billy Frazier wife, Roxanne of Reeves, LA and Roy Frazier wife, Tamara of Whitefish, MT; sisters, Betty Perkins husband, Walter of DeRidder, LA, Anna Conner of West Virginia, JoEllen Howell of Rosepine, LA and Wendy Cabading, of Keithville, LA; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
