Dear family of Elmer,
I'm so sorry to hear of Elmer's passing, especially at this late date. Although I only knew him "over the phone" through placing robe orders with Herff Jones, we had many meaningful conversations, and I have missed my 2-3 times per year visits with him. I first met him when ordering confirmation robes in 1993, then all the way through 2018. When I didn't receive the family Christmas newsletter in 2019 I was concerned his health might have begun to fail. I'm overjoyed to know his health is just fine and he is enjoying eternity in heaven!
May the Lord bless and keep all of you, and may the wonderful memories bring comfort and laughter. I join you in missing him until a heavenly reunion.

Dear family of Elmer - I am very sorry to hear about the passing away of Your Dad. I enjoyed communicating so much with him. I worked at Collegiate and Herff Jones when he was a Church Specialist. He was a true believer in God and shared many thoughtful and meaningful devotionals with me. I will miss Elmer but am sure he is singing up in heaven many glorious hymns. Diane Hemrich
