Although I did not know him, all members of the 134th have been and are brothers joined by a common bond. May God bless.

I never met Bruce. But I have heard quite a bit about him. Not meeting him in person is a great loss for me personally.
I was assigned to one of the several Helicopter units in Vietnam which Bruce was a member. A Company 158th Assault Helicopter Battalion, 101st Airborne Division.
My sympathy to all the family and friends who have suffered his loss.
Regards

Many can attest to the goodness and strength of this American hero, my family counted among them. Grandpa Willis is survived by those he loved; they will carry his spirit and enrich the world, creating a lasting impression of his goodwill and faith that will never falter or fade.

I will never forget you, Daddy. You taught me a lot of valuable lessons and skills. I loved fishing with you, the camping trips & digging for arrowheads. You taught me how to silently paddle a canoe. How to be strong & brave. You helped me out in many ways over the years, it was always appreciated. I wish that we could have seen more of one another, in our busy lives. I will keep your memory alive, & pray for your restful peace now. I will miss you always. You were my hero, and a hero to others as well. I hope you are proud of who I became. Your beautiful grandchildren and great-grandson will know your legacy. Rest in peace. I love you so much.
