Obituary of Homer Ray Roberts

Funeral services for Homer Ray Roberts, 73, of DeRidder will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at 10:00 am at the Life Tabernacle Church with Bro. Jeremy Griffin officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery, in Dry Creek, Louisiana.  Services are under the direction of the DeRidder Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Life Tabernacle Church from 5 pm until 9pm.

Homer the son of Ivy and Lula May Perkins Roberts was born on July 10, 1944, in DeRidder, Louisiana. He passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018, in DeRidder, Louisiana.  He was a lifelong resident of the Beauregard and Vernon Parish areas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon.

He is survived by his sons, Raymond Roberts and wife Krystle of DeRidder and James Roberts and wife Kalene of DeRidder; daughters, Joyce Whiddon and husband John of Merryville and Leah Griffin and husband Jeremy of DeRidder and grandchildren, Logan Roberts, Lanie Roberts, Landon Roberts, Leila Roberts, Raylee Roberts, Laci Holloway, Emily Griffin, Matthew Griffin and Jaydah Griffin
