Obituary of Gertrude Perry

Gertrude Goff Perry, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, transitioned from this life on June 30, 2015. She was born to Batiste Goff, Sr., and Lillie Givens Goff on December 8, 1927. She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Jim Perry, Sr., son, Otis Perry and granddaughter, Kel'leigh Perry. She leaves to cherish her memory son, Jim Perry, Jr., daughter, Lillie Perry Busby (David Busby), 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. The visitation will be held at Greater St. Lawrence Baptist Church, 2911 Cypress Street, Alexandria, LA on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. The services will be under the direction of Hixon Funeral Home (337) 239-2623.
