Obituary of James Wright

James Maurice Wright, 73, of DeRidder, Louisiana passed away on Monday, November 9th, 2015 in DeRidder, Louisiana. Mr. Wright grew up in Leesville, but lived in the DeRidder area all of his life. He served in the Marines and was an avid Saints and LSU fan. He loved watching football, and baseball. Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his parents, Olaf and Inez Wright and one brother, Melvin Wright. Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory are Billie Sue Jordan, with whom he made his home; one daughter, Christine Wright, of Texas; one son, Clint Wright of Montana; one stepson, Sandy Yohner, of DeRidder, LA; three stepdaughters, Rebecca Jordan, of DeRidder, LA; Karen Jordan, of Sulphur, LA; and Tammy Parker of San Augustine, TX. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 12th, 2015 starting at 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 PM on November 12th at Hixson Funeral Home, DeRidder, LA. Interment will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. Services will be under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home in Deridder, LA.
