Obituary of LeRoy Smith

LeRoy Smith, 88, of DeRidder, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, November 26th, 2015 in DeRidder, Louisiana. Mr. Smith was a member of the Highland Mennonite Church of DeRidder, LA. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, August and Andie Smith; his wife, Louella Esau Smith. Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory are two sons, Michael and wife Irene of Clarksdale, MS and Stuart and wife Michele of West Jordan, UT; three daughters, Teresa and husband Errol Giesbrecht of Clarksdale, MS, Kathleen and husband Donald Classen of DeRidder, LA and Christine Schultz of Kansas City, KS; son-in-law, Floyd Schultz of Longview, TX; two brothers, Robert D. Smith of West Point, MS and David Smith of Cimarron, KS; one sister, Peggy Kane of Atwater, CA; twenty four grandchildren and forty five great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 28th from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Highland Mennonite Church in DeRidder, LA. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 29th at 10:30 AM at Highland Mennonite Church of DeRidder, LA. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
