Obituary of Billy Johnson

Billy Leverne Johnson 74 of DeRidder, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015 in DeRidder, LA. Mr. Johnson was a member of the VFW, and was retired from Boise Cascade. He also liked camping, bass fishing, hunting, and digging arrowheads. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Bettina Johnson, two sisters, and one brother. Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory is his one son Robert and wife Deborah Johnson of Leesville; one daughter Tina Jenkins, of DeRidder LA; seven grandchildren, Casey Jenkins, Bryce Jenkins, Misty Perry, LaVestia Meek, John Roberts, Christopher Gamboa, Lindsay Gamboa, and eleven great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 16 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 17 at 10:00 AM at Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder LA, with Reverend Gary Dardar officiating. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. Services will be under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home in Deridder, LA.
