Obituary of Rosemary Granberry
Rosemary Granberry, 95, of DeRidder, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 in DeRidder.
She was born on October 28, 1921 in DeRidder, LA to Willis Melvin and Hazel Myrl Butler. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fletcher William Granberry, and one daughter Rebecca Rose Montgomery; two sisters, Hope Seaman and Dell Manning; three brothers, Charles Butler, Asa Butler, and Robert Butler.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her sisters, Micky Bailey, Leeodra Quay Regner;; step-children, Paul Ren Granberry and his wife Austa, Maxie Granberry Katsock, Ruthelma Rummel and her husband, George, two grandchildren, Kristen Denise Baker and her husband, Jesse Nolin Baker and John Thomas Montgomery, and one great-grandson, James Nolin Baker.
Rosemary worked at First National Bank for over 30 years before retiring.
A visitation will be on Thursday from 5 to 9 pm at Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder. A funeral Service will be on Friday at 10 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at Broadlands Bible Church in DeRidder. The Rev. Mark Land will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder.
