Obituary of Frederick M. Cloessner

Frederick M. "Freddie" Cloessner, 70, of Singer, Louisiana entered eternal peace on Wednesday, January 7th, 2015. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He never met a stranger, always had a smile on his face, liked to make others laugh and would do anything to help anyone. He enjoyed farming, riding his four wheeler, camping, hunting, shrimping, riding his tractor and bulldozer and listening to country and 50's music. Mr. Cloessner was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Verna Mae Cloessner. Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory are his wife, Linda Gauthier Cloessner of Singer, LA; four sons, Jay Cloessner and wife Sylvia of DeRidder, LA, Samuel Cloessner and wife Bonnie of DeRidder, LA, BJ Terrell and wife Aleisha of Singer, LA and Lee Burge and companion Brianne of DeQuincy, LA; one daughter, Richelle Pritchard and husband Joe of DeRidder, LA; two brothers, Clinton Cloessner and wife Peggy of Victoria, TX and Keith Cloessner and wife Linda of Orange, TX; ten grandchildren, Alyssa Cloessner, Logan Cloessner, Noah Cloessner, Samaura Cloessner, Connor Pritchard, Christian Pritchard, Cody Pritchard, Grace Terrell, Mason Burge and Levi Burge and numerous extended family and friends. Visitation will been on Thursday, January 8th, 2015 at Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA from 4:00pm to 9:00pm then on Friday, January 9th, 2015 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm and on Saturday, January 10th, 2015 from 10:00am until the time of service at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Newlin Cemetery in Singer, LA.
