Obituary of J.W. Willis

J.W. Willis, 88, of DeRidder, Louisiana, passed from this life on February 27, 2016. J.W. was a member of Texas Avenue Baptist Church in DeRidder. J.W. will be remembered for his hard working ethics, he enjoyed wood working and loved his Family dearly. J.W. was the son of the late Joseph and Della Willis. J.W. was preceded in death by one Daughter, two Brothers and two Sisters, J.W. is survived by his loving Wife Evlene Willis of DeRidder, Louisiana as well as one Son, Wilson Willis of DeRidder, Louisiana. J.W is also survived by one Brother, J.P. Willis of DeRidder, Louisiana and one Sister, Eva Taylor of DeRidder, Louisiana, along with Three Grandchildren, Keagan, Kirklin and Kooper LaBlanc and many Nieces and Nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 29, 2016 from 5 – 7 PM at Hixson Funeral Home, DeRidder, Louisiana for visitation. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 10 AM in the Chapel at Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Interment will be at Hopewell Cemetery in DeRidder, Louisiana.
