Obituary of Lottie Agnes Bailey

Lottie Agnes Bailey, 73, of DeRidder, Louisiana passed from this life on May 21, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving Family. She will be remembered by many examples of her life. Lottie loved to sew and color with her Grandchildren and enjoyed coloring in the "adult color books" as well. She enjoyed all kinds of music, especially "Elvis". Lottie had a love for reading, as she would read with her Children and Grandchildren. Due to her love for reading, Lottie read at home when she found her house a quiet place to be. Too know her was to love her. Lottie will be missed dearly by all who loved and adored her. She was the Daughter of the late Maurice Daigre and Opal Bazzar Daigre. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Coley Bailey as well as one Brother, Buster Daigre and one Sister Jeanette Guidry who passed from her life this past Thursday. Lottie and Jeanette where known as "two peas in a pod", almost like identical twins. Lottie and Jeanette are now rejoicing in the heavens alongside one another at peace. Lottie is survived by three Sons, Barry "Beetle" Bailey and Wife, Judy of DeRidder Louisiana, Timothy Bailey and Wife Dana of DeRidder Louisiana and Christopher "Cricket" Bailey and Wife Maggie of Sulphur Louisiana. Lottie is known as having a loving hand in raising her Granddaughter Miss Kristy Michelle Bailey. Lottie also is survived by an additional 11 Grandchildren and one Sister, Jimmie Mae Mahe of Tyler Town Mississippi. The Family will receive Friends on Monday, May 23, 2016 from 5:00PM – 8:00PM at Hixson Funeral Home located in DeRidder, Louisiana. The Family will resume receiving Friends on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 beginning at Noon until the time of Service at Hixson Funeral Home located in DeRidder, Louisiana. The Funeral Service will then begin at 2:00PM at Hixson Funeral Home DeRidder Chapel. Interment will then follow at Hopewell Cemetery, DeRidder, Louisiana.
