Obituary of Helen Nevon Ward

Helen Nevon Ward (1937-2016) Helen Ward, 79 passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016 at her residence. She loved Antiques and cherished her old pictures. Most of all she loved her family and animals. Helen is survived by six children, Ricky Ward of Merryville, Randall Ward of Merryville, Janene Ward of Burlington, NC., Ronnie Ward and wife Cindy of Merryville, Robbie Ward and wife Marie of Berea, KY., Joan Ward Latiolais and husband Mark of Eunice, La., three sisters, Deltha Hopkins of Florien, Martha Youngblood of Merryville and Evelyn Rhame of Florien. One brother, Douglas Youngblood and wife Jane of Hemphill, Texas. Helen is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by Murry Ward, husband of 37 years, sister Betty Youngblood Prince, brother Lewis Youngblood, and parents Hattie and Hamp Youngblood. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 1:00pm at Merryville United Methodist Church in Merryville, Louisiana. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 11:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Florien, LA.
