Obituary of James Bryant Freeman
James Bryant Freeman, 81, of DeRidder, Louisiana passed from this life on August 11, 2016. James was a member of Diamond Baptist Church of Rosepine, Louisiana. James will be remembered by his giving spirit as he loved to visit Nursing Homes, Hospitals and tended to the sick as often as he could. He was a loving, kind, gentle man who was adored by everyone that knew him. In his spare time James also enjoyed fishing and working in his garden as he also had a love for flowers. James Freeman was a Military man of 20 years as he retired from the Airforce as an E6 – Tsgt. After serving his Country, he continued to protect his Community as he was as a Security Officer for 15 years. James Freeman was the son of the late Victor W. Freeman and the late Dona Moses Freeman. James is survived by his loving Wife Sue Freeman of 54 years, Two Sisters, Connie Johnson of Virginia, and Joyce Bunn of Oklahoma. Three Nieces, Sandra McMullen and Husband David, Sylvia Perez, Stella Pitre and Husband Ricky. James had a host of Great Nieces and Nephews, all of whom loved and adored him dearly. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 15th, 2016 from 9:00AM – 11:00AM. Funeral Services for James Freeman will begin at 11:00AM at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel - DeRidder, Louisiana.
