Obituary of Lola Jordan
Lola Mae Jordan, age 61, of DeRidder, Louisiana passed from this life on September 5, 2016. Lola was a member of Lone Star Baptist Church. Lola will be remembered for her loving and giving spirit as she helped many throughout her Career and in her personal life. Lola was an LPN and Home Health Care Nurse serving our community for over 25 years. She loved to cook and enjoyed her time in her Garden while she was tending to her Vegetable's and her beautiful Flowers. In her spare time, Lola also loved to fish. She loved her Family dearly, to know Lola was to love Lola. Lola was the Daughter of the late, John Lincoln Stracener of Leesville, Louisiana, also preceded in Death by her Son, Stanley Scott and her Brother, Alton Stracener. Lola is survived by her Loving Husband of 25 Years, Victor Jordan and her Mother, Essie Mae Stracener of Pitkin, Louisiana, one Son, Lester Scott, and one Daughter, Victoria Johnson. Lola is survived by three Sisters, Edith Mancil (Wallace) of DeRidder. Claire Baker (Benny) of Crockett, Mo. And Linda Brown (Doug) of Hornbeck, Louisiana. Lola is also survived by six Brothers, Charlie Stracener (Tammie) of Pitkin, Leon Stracener (Katy) of Pitkin, Leroy Stracener (Tina) of Pitkin, Chester Stracener (Shauna) of Austin, Co. John W. Stracener (Angela) of Pitkin, and Jerry Stracener of Pitkin, Louisiana. Lola is survived by nine Grandchildren, John L. Scott, Kimberly Duplechin, Jeremiah Scott, Kelsey Scott, Landon Scott, Shae Scott, Anessa Johnson, Marihanna Johnson and Laila Jordan, as well as, four great grandchildren. Lola will be missed daily as she was a beloved, Wife, Mother, Daughter, Grandmother and Friend to many, Lola was loved by all. Arrangements entrusted to Hixson Funeral Home – DeRidder, Louisiana.
