Alice loved life. She was a peacemaker and never liked for anyone to be mad. She always wanted happiness especially in our little family. Alice loved all her kids and was a very generous person. She was always active playing with the grandkids like badminton that cost her a broken wrist! She loved to go bowling and for years she was in a league. Alice loved playing cards her whole life. Her favorite card game was euchre. Another one of her past times was writing letters to friends and family, crossword puzzles and reading, she also loved to sing and go dance the polka. When her mother died she was only 14 years old and had to go to work. She had beautiful handwriting and she spelled and wrote beautifully for only going up to the 8th grade. She never drove a car but she was a great back seat driver!! Alice was raised a very strict Roman Catholic and thought very strongly of becoming a nun when she was a girl. The Lord was very precious to her and had a personal relationship with Him. She prayed for her family every single day and night. Alice was born in South Bend, Indiana to Stanley and Josephine (Niespodziany) Radecki. She was the last of of nine children. Her siblings were Martha Yuhasz, Theresa Montgomery, Irene Orban, Leona Jozwiak, Edward Radecki, Casimer Radecki, Clem Radecki, and Ted Radecki.
