Obituary of Bessie Irene Vanchiere

Bessie Irene Glasgow McMullen Vanchiere, 97, passed away on September 6, 2010 in Baton Rouge, La. Bessie is survived by; daughters, Freda McMullen McDonald and Elaine McMullen Benoit; 8 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; and 7 Great -Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by; husband, James McMullen; husband, Sam Vanchiere; father, H.A Glasgow; mother, Arie Simmons Glasgow; and son, B.H (Bud) McMullen. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at the Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder from 9:00 a.m until service time at 11:00 a.m .
