Obituary of Winnon R Hall

Winnon Ray Hall, 89, Passed from this life on November 17, 2016. Winnon was a lifelong resident of Louisiana with roots that ran deep within this area. Winnon went to work in the Army as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He was a Carpenter for many years, then he was a Truckdriver hauling wood to the Papermills until his Retirement from the State of Louisiana Highway Department. He was Baptist by his Faith and had a strong personal relationship with his Savior Jesus Christ. Winnon was a kind, gentle man who was loved and adored by all who knew him. Winnon is preceded in Death by his Parents, James Norris Hall and Blanche Geohagen Hall, a Brother Burnice "B.B." Hall, an infant Brother and Daughter, James Dale Hall and Doris Jean Hall. Winnon is also preceded in Death by his loving Wife, Joyce Carroll Hall. Those left to cherish his memory are one Son: Herman Hall and Wife Regina of Rosepine, Louisiana. Three Daughters, Kathleen Williams and Husband J.D., Jeanie Mayes and Husband Fred and Carolyn Watts all of Rosepine, Louisiana. Winnon was blessed to have had Ten Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren, all of whom will miss him dearly. The Hall Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 5-9 PM at Hixson Funeral Home – DeRidder, Louisiana. Mr. Winnon Hall's Funeral Service will take place on Sunday November 20, 2016 at 2PM at Hixson Funeral Home – DeRidder, Louisiana Chapel. Pastor Johnny Johnson and Lindsey Burns will be officiating. Interment will be held at Rosepine Cemetery located in Rosepine, Louisiana.
