Obituary of Bobby James Blanchard

Bobby James Blanchard, 72, of Dayton, Texas entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015 in Liberty, Texas. He was a PUFL member of the American Legion Post 27, East Beauregard Volunteer Fire Department district 3, loved old country music, fishing but most of all his family. Mr. Blanchard was preceded in death by his parents, Antoine and Inez Hebert Blanchard; one wife, Della Mae Buller Blanchard and one brother, Burton Antoine Blanchard. Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory are his wife, Janelle Stephens Blanchard of Dayton, TX; four daughters, Katherine Blanchard Binford and husband Daryl of Dry Creek, LA, Patsy Inez Blanchard Granger and husband Troy of Lake Charles, LA, Peggy Blanchard and companion Paul Price of Sugartown, LA and Jennifer Schaeffer of Dayton, TX; two sons, William Shane Hatfield and wife Amanda of Dayton, TX and Shaun Michael Hatfield and wife Sabrina of Crosby, TX; one brother, Wilfred Bill Blanchard and wife Priscilla of Vidor, TX; two sisters, Bonnie Blanchard Palmer of Pasadena, TX and Jeanette Blanchard Bailey and husband Larry Sr. of Dry Creek, LA; twenty grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, February 5th, 2015 at 12:00pm to 10:00pm at Shiloh Baptist Church in Dry Creek, LA and on Friday, February 6th, 2015 from 9:00am until the time of service at 2:00pm with Brother Rod Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Dry Creek, LA.
