Dear Sister Cousin Glenda. Missing you today as always. I am planting an azalea in your honor. You loved your azaleas and they are so beautiful. I miss your encouragement and advice. I saved some of your emails and even chats on Facebook. It was good information and I thought I might want to read it later. I am doing that now and your words are a comfort to me as are the letters you wrote to me over the years. I miss you and love you.

Aunt Glenda didn't have to be super-affectionate for you to know she cared. Somehow, you just knew. She was always interested in what was going on in my life. Even when I thought I knew it was boring and/or pointless, she would shine a positive perspective on things and renew my motivation. I was stunned when I found out the Lord called one of His angels back to Heaven. I was about to take my first geology test, but thankfully she helped me from above. You are truly missed.

Greg,
I know right now that you are at a loss without your companion but the time that you two had together for all those years can be cherished. Glenda had such a sweet and good soul. She always had such a calmness about her. I will miss her at all our family gatherings but she will always be remembered. I love you and if you need anything, please let me know.

Greg. Laron and family,
Glenda was my college roommate for 4 semesters and we learned a lot from each other. I was an early bird and she was a night owl so we got along great. Our love of music was one of our greatest bonds. I will miss her sweet voice and smile but know she is now in Heaven singing and playing that piano for the angels and our parents. Rest in Peace my dear and devoted friend. Until we meet again.
