Roy and I fought the Lord for years. When we finally surrendered, it was Bro. Albert's teaching at Immanuel He brought us to. We thank God daily for leading us to Bro. Albert's guidance in our new Christian walk.

Dear Dianne,
Albert's Mansion was ready and our loving God was ready to welcome him to his new mansion. Just think - Christmas with Jesus!
As you know, our God is willing and able to help you with the scary world without Albert.
I know how hard it can be to have to step out into the world and decide when to change the oil, deciding if the noise the car is making is something to be ignored or something to be concerned about, or is the washer, freezer, or dishwasher misbehaving. God will give you strength to handle these and other problems. Will it be easy? No, but you have the strength to handle life until you are once again united. O blessed hope we have.

Our memories of Albert span almost fifteen years and over thirty trips to Mountainair. We lovingly remember him as a man of great faith who was dedicated to God; a man who was devoted to his wife and displayed that love in so many ways; a man who had a vision of helping at-risk children and established Eagles' Wings to fulfill that dream; a man who was a great friend, even across the miles, and a man who impacted the lives of many as he shared his love of the Lord. May his legacy continue through these lives he touched.

I have so many good memories of Mr. Albert. One thing I remember is that he was always a listening ear while sitting on the front porch at Eagles Wings. Also when Mr. Albert spoke you listened because he did not speak very much, but when he did it was something very important or words of wisdom. I always loved walking in the front door of the Ranch house and seeing Mr. Albert standing there with a smile on his face. I loved to hear Mr. Albert chuckle or laugh because it always made me laugh or smile. On February 4, 2007 Mr. Albert preached in Philippians chapter 2 and next to the verses he preached about I wrote some notes. Mr. Albert said obedience brings blessings and everything we have is His. Mr. Albert was a very good example of how obedience brings blessings and lived as if everything he owned belonged to the Lord.

I met Albert on my front porch when he and Dianne came for a visit. I was so impressed with his quiet strength...an opinion that never changed over the years. What a blessing to have known him. May the Lord multiply all the seeds he and Dianne planted over the years!

Mr. Albert left his mark on my life while living and working at Eagles Wings. His leadership was an example to me and I look back on it often as a guide. He was slow to speak and thought through his words before offering advice. I look forward to seeing him again......

I have met Albert on two occasions at Eagles Wings.
I understand a bit of the trauma that you (Dianne) are going through. I've recently had to place my wife in an Alzheimer's unit in ABQ, and the loneliness comes over me in waves.
You and Albert have been and you will continue in my prayers. God is so good and so faithful. I am a member of the Hooten-Strascina Connection Class.

Mr A gave such gentle correction. He would look at me with his small smile and say 'OK, Miss Independent'. He didn't scold, or show his disappointment. He just looked at you with love shining in his eyes and said a few words that told you a book of wisdom. I miss him. I wish I could hear him say 'OK, Miss Independent' just one more time.

I knew Bro. Hagan as a student at Louisiana College in the 1950 era. After reading his obit one must conclude that he was a blessing to those around him wherever he went. He left his mark for the Lord throughout his life. May the Lord continue to bless those he left behind.+

Bro. Hagan is among some of my dearest childhood memories at Dry Creek Baptist Camp. I was proud to have been able to work on the staff at Dry Creek under his loving direction. He will be sadly missed in this life but a joyful reunion will occur one day in Glory.
