Obituary of Dorothy Low Clark Ladner
Dorothy Low Clark Ladner, 85, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011 in a local care center.
She was born in Red River County, Texas and resided in the DeQuincy-Dry Creek Area. She worked for the Railroad and Beauregard Memorial Hospital. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed. She was a great cook and loved gardening and crocheting.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Clark and wife, Pamela of Houston, TX and Lucien Clark and wife, Julie of Lake Charles, LA; daughters, Jana Clark Cryer of Rosepine and Adriana Dent and husband, Jim of Fort Valley, GA; a sister, Oma Ruth Smith of Paris, TX; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, LV Ladner; 2 brothers, Marlin and Olas Low.
Her funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Wednesday and will resume at 8 a.m. Thursday morning. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Azlheimer's Association.
