Obituary of Willie Mae Kemp

Willie Mae Kemp, 78, of DeRidder, LA passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 in Lake Charles, LA. Visitation for Willie Mae will be held on Friday, April 15, 2011 from 12:00 p.m until 10:00 p.m at the Gospel Lighthouse Church of DeRidder. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m with Pastor Ed Tilley and Bro. J.R. Dowden officiating. Burial will follow at Black Jack Cemetery in Pitkin, LA under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder. Willie is preceded in death by her husband, Henry C. Kemp; daughter, Marilyn Costello; Brother, Herbert Carroll; and Sister, Johnnie Ruth Carroll. She is survived by her son: Clarence Kemp and wife Jeanette of DeRidder, LA; Daughters: Evelyn Marie Dowden and husband J.R of Mittie, LA, and Carla Baker and husband Ronnie of DeRidder, LA; Brothers: Russell Carroll and wife Sue of Pitkin, LA and Offie Ray Carroll of Pitkin, LA; Sister, Margie Tackett of Pitkin, LA. 14 Grandchildren and 25 Great Grandchildren Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneral.com
