I loved the pictures. Madeline was a dear friend and I always enjoyed being with her. I shall miss her phone calls. We had some good times together. Her family meant everything to her, especially Harry. The tribute to her by Henry Van Dyke was perfect.

I just found out about Ms. Thompson. I am so sorry for your lose. At this time in my life I have had a lot of time just resting and recuperating. Much of my time is spent remembering good times. The memories of those years with your families are among the very best. She was a remarkable lady. May God be with you each in his special way.
