Obituary of Jo Ella LaCaze Iles

Jo Ella Iles, 88, passed away on May 12, 2011 in DeRidder, LA. She was born and reared in DeRidder and is a descendant of pioneer families of Beauregard and Vernon Parish. Jo Ella was a member of the First Baptist Church of DeRidder. She was preceded in death by her parents; Wilber "Dutch" and Lena Shirley LaCaze; her sister, Wylma D. LaCaze Jackson; and her first husband, R. Ray Orrill and then by husband, Jimmie Iles. Jo Ella is survived by her two children; Ray Orrill II of New Orleans, LA; and Jolene Orrill Stotz and her husband Glenn of Plano, TX; Grandchildren: R. Ray Orrill III and his wife Deanna of Gonzales, LA; John William Remington "Jack" Orrill of New Orleans, and Step Grandson, Michael Ellis Mathieu of New Orleans; Great Grandaughter, Alden Elizabeth Orrill ; Special Niece, Jane Jackson Hunsucker and husband Royce and Nephew, Ned Jackson. Visitation will be held at the Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder on Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 1:00 p.m in the Chapel of Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder. Rev. Lindsey Burns will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Beauregard Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder.
