Obituary of Gueringer Sr.

Jerome "Jerry" Dean Gueringer, Sr., 78, of Grant, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015. Mr. Gueringer retired from Conoco after 28 years and loved to duck hunt with his son. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmith and Velma Stephenson Gueringer; sister, Bobby Haddock; brother, Kenneth Gueringer. Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss are his wife of 50 years, Pattie Marie Gueringer; three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael W. and Alexis Gueringer of Kinder, LA, Jerome and Mellissa Gueringer, Jr. of Lake Charles, LA and James and Darlene Gueringer of Welsh, LA; two brothers, William and wife Sandra Gueringer of Lake Charles, LA, LeMuriel Gueringer of MO; sister, Jacquline Gueringer of Lake Charles, LA; five grandchildren, Hunter, Bailey, Samantha, Cody and Molly Gueringer. Funeral services for Mr. Gueringer will be conducted on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 2pm at Palestine Church by Bro. Doray Langley. Interment to follow at Palestine Cemetery.
