Obituary of Diana Sue Harper

Diana Sue Henry Harper, 69, of Sugartown, Louisiana entered eternal peace on Saturday, February 21st, 2015 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, watching humming birds, making dolls, jelly and jams and she loved animals, but her greatest love was for her family. Mrs. Harper was preceded in death by her parents, Everton and Audrey Potter Henry; her husband, Percy Harper Jr and one brother Bobby Henry. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory are one daughter, Suzanne Hernandez of Sugartown, LA; two sons, Prentiss Harper of Sugartown, LA and Patrick Harper and wife Missy of Sugartown, LA; five grandchildren, Kristopher Douglas, Mallory Allison, Steven Douglas, Halei Harper and Mercedes Hernandez; four great grandchildren, Ethan Douglas, Lydia Douglas, Waylon Harper and Dylan James Barco and numerous extended family and friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 25th, 2015 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 26th, 2015 at 2:00pm at Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA with Brother Rod Martin Officiating. Interment will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
