Obituary of Marie I. Fletcher

Marie I. Fletcher, 87, of Rosepine, La. was born on February 19, 1924 in Nielsville, Wisconsin and passed away, Monday August 22, 2011 at Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder, La. Marie one of Jehovah's Witnesses and Baptized at the age of 17. Mrs. Fletcher will be missed by her loving family: Son: Michael W. Fletcher, Rosepine, La. Daughters: Sherry Denise Fletcher, Rosepine, La. and Colleen June Townsend, Clute, Texas. Marie had 3 Granchildren, Heather Hendricks, Michelle Parker, and Brandy Todd. And she also had 5 Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Fletcher of Rosepine, La. Visitation for Marie will be held on, Thursday, August 25, 2011 at the Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder from 4:00p.m until 8:00p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 2:00p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder. Brother Gary Brown will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Rosepine Cemetery in Rosepine, La. under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home.
