Obituary of Myrtle Marie Kilman

Funeral services for Myrtle Marie (Branch) Kilman will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2017 in the Chapel of Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder. Interment will be at Beauregard Parish Cemetery in De Ridder. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder. Mrs. Kilman, age 89, of Luling, La. passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at her son's home in Schnecksville, Pa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Myrtie Branch of De Ridder, her husband. John B. Kilman Jr. of Luling, La. and her daughter, Cheryl Lynn Kilman Benvenuto, of Old Tappan, N. J. Mrs. Kilman was born in Many, La. and lived most of her life in Louisiana. She moved to Pennsylvania in 2013 to be closer to her son and his family. She is survived by her brother Billy Ray Branch from Houston, Tx., her son John B. "Johnny" Kilman III and his wife Shelley R. Kilman of Schnecksville, Pa. 6 grandchildren, Angie Weikel, Amy Jo Dunsmore, Sally Bankert, Lindsay Bankert, Johnny Kilman all from Pennsylvania, and Christopher Benvenuto from New Jersey. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, Cheyenne Dunsmore, Maddie Weikel, Landon Dunsmore, Jackson Bankert, Henry Weikel, Gavin Bankert, Bradley Dunsmore, Colton Bankert, Sawyer Bankert and Kendall Bankert all from Pennsylvania. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service in the Chapel of Hixson Funeral Home.
