Obituary of Michael McMillian

Michael Wayne McMillian, 51, of Ragley, La. was born on August 8, 1960 to Oliver (Little son) McMillian and JoAnn Futrell in Plainview, Texas. Mr. McMillian was called home by our Heavenly Father on October 15, 2011 at his residence in Ragley, La. Mr . McMillian worked offshore for many years as an electrician for Global Industries in Carlyss, La. Mr. McMillian loved his work and was very proud of it. Mr. McMillian was married to his wife of 16 years in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a member of Living Faith Fellowship. He was a loving and wonderful husband, father, son and friend. Mr. McMillian will be missed and loved by his family, in-laws, and friends: Mr. McMillian is survived by his wife, of 16 years, Diane McMillian, his mother JoAnn Futrell, his daughters, Mindy Zehler, Christa Pendley, Misty Futrell and one son, Michael Futrell. Sisters , Pat Lundgren, and Barbara Ramos. One brother, Ricky McMillian, two granddaughters, Alysa Zehler and Jetta Robin Coy, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, in-laws, family and friends Mr. McMillian was preceded in glory by his father, Oliver (little son) McMillian, one son, Richard A. Pendley. Visitation for Mr. McMillian will be on Tuesday October 18, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, La. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 19, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, La. Rev. Corey James Burleigh will be officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Longville, La; under the care of Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder, La. In Lieu of flowers there is an account at Capital One in Moss bluff, La.
