Obituary of Christine Cox

Christine Maria Cox, age 54, of Rosepine , La. passed away on February 14, 2012 at her home in Rosepine, La. Christine was born on November 15, 1957 in Nellingen, Germany to James Wiley Ward and Elfriede Ward. Christine was a nursing assistant , companion and caregiver. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her. Christine was survived by her husband, Larry Allen Cox Sr. and her mother, Elfriede Ward. She was also survived by one daughter, Jenifer M. Cox and one son, Larry Allen Cox Jr. Sisters, Eva V. Blatchley, Barbara Harbison and Elizabeth A. Elliott. Brothers, Reinhold Schwaighofer, Harold Karl Ward and James Ward. One grandchild, Rebekah M. Blatchley, and 5 nieces and 8 nephews. Christine was preceded in death by her father James Wiley Ward. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, La.
