Obituary of Glenda Messer

Glenda Messer, 67, of DeRidder, La. passed away at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital on March 6, 2012. Glenda was born on June 16, 1945 to Floyd and Mildred Dunn in DeRidder , La. Glenda was survived by her husband Vern Messer of DeRidder, La. Mother, Mildred Stevison of DeRidder, La. Daughters, Mechelle Wood and husband Danny of DeRidder, La. and Angelea Wheeler and husband Erik of Austin, Texas. She was also survived by 2 grandaughters, Brittany and Brianna Wood of DeRidder, La. Glenda was preceded in death by her Father, Floyd Dunn. Her step-father, Henry W. Stevison and her brother, Floyd Dunn Jr. Glenda touched a lot of lives and will be missed by everyone who knew her. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Shady Grove Pentecostal Church in DeRidder. La. Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday March 9, 2012 at Shady Grove Pentecostal Church. Brothers Jeff Phillips and Brother Jon Hair will be officiating.
