Nanny,
My heart is broken & I cant stop the tears. I could write about memories of times past or how well you did everything but theres not enough space. I want to write to you, that i miss you, that i cant imagine how to get through without you, the sound of your calming voice or the touch of your gentle hand, how you'd run your fingers through my hair when I laid my head on your lap. You've wiped away so many of my tears now I have to wipe my own. You meant the world to me and this pain in my heart will never go away. Not one day will pass that I wont miss you more than the day before. I am sure I'll see you again one day but I'd so much rather see you now. I love you
Sherry

Barbara, You are one of the nicest people in the world. You always made me feel at home. You were easy to talk to and be around. You cooked really well; and were always just "you'. That is what we needed. You were real. You will be missed. Look forward to seeing you in heaven. I know you are having a great time there. Love always, Darwin

Aunt Barbie,
How do I begin. We have had so many fun times through the years. A lot of my early years were spent with you as we visited in the summer and some of the other times of the year. I remember the big vegetable garden ya'll had. The hogs, the chickens, you raised, climbing under your house to get potatoes for supper. We took afternoon naps under your tree as well as shelling the purple hull peas there. I remember you chasing Billy across the yard trying to switch him for smoking. I remember the day that Uncle Gill rung a turkey's neck and it ran all over the yard, boy was I scared. I had never seen that before. So many memories of so many different times. I always enjoyed going to visit you and you usually were a lot of fun. The only time I didn't want to visit was when Mother had my sister Janie and we had to stay for about 2 weeks. I wanted to be home so bad. You have been a wonderful Aunt and have always been there for us when we needed you, even during the rough times.
You will be dearly missed, I love you and am so glad that you accepted Jesus into your heart and life. I will see you in Heaven again one day. Rhonda (and Darwin)
