Obituary of Francis H. Shaw

Frances Terrell Hunter Shaw, 83, of DeRidder, Louisiana went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 10, 2017 in DeRidder, Louisiana. Mrs. Shaw worked in real estate in Houston, Texas for twenty years, and then retired to Louisiana. She was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. She will be missed by everyone that was blessed to know her. Mrs. Shaw was preceded in death by her parents, George Terrell, and Hazel Terrell; husband, Roy Hunter; one son, G. B. Clendening. Mrs. Shaw is survived by her husband, Herbert Eugene Shaw, of DeRidder; four children, Mark Clendening and wife, Marilyn, of DeRidder, LA, David Clendening and wife, Wendy, of Houston TX, Patricia Rumley, of Humble TX, Peggy Condiff, and husband, Ray, of Sugartown LA; three step daughters, Lisa McCain, and husband, Gerald, of DeRidder, LA, Tanya Kay Everett, and husband, James, of DeRidder, LA, Larissa Williams, of DeRidder LA; fourteen grandchildren, and twenty one great- grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and will resume at 12:00 PM on Monday, February 13, 2017 until time of service at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA, with Reverend Alfred Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Smyrna Cemetery, DeRidder, LA.
