Obituary of Raymond White

Celebration of Life services for Mr. Raymond White, 69, will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2012, in the Chapel of Hixson Funeral Home, DeRidder, Louisiana with Bro. Daniel Lowe, Bro. Gerald Blackwell, and Bro. Larry Senn officiating. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Gravel Hill Cemetery, Pitkin, Louisiana. The family would like welcome friends for visitation Monday, November 12, 2012, from the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home. Mr. White was born September 8, 1943, in DeRidder, Louisiana, to the late Leroy and Lucille James White, and was called home November 10, 2012, in Leesville, Louisiana. He was a proud business owner within the furniture industry. Mr. White will be deeply missed. Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Wallace Lee White and Oneal White. Left to cherish his loving memories will be his beloved wife; Kathleen White, three sons: Timothy Ray White, Michael Henry White, and Christopher Edward Brooks, two daughters: Diana White Brooks, Aimee Elizabeth Brooks, eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, along with numerous extended family members and many wonderful friends. Honorary Mr. White as pallbearers will be Jeff Williams, Reese Martin, Jeffery Banks, Roger Blackwell, Nicholas Martin, Ryan Wolf, Kevin Shepard and Anthony Ordunon.
