Obituary of Petrus Sidney Primeaux

Celebration of Life services for Mr. Petrus "Pete" Sidney Primeaux, 62, will be held 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2012, in the sanctuary of Grand Lake Community Church, Grand Lake, LA., with Pastor Lee Whitley officiating under the direction on Hixson Funeral Home, DeRidder, LA. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Grand Lake Community Cemetery, Grand Lake, LA. The family would like to welcome friends for visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 19, 2012 until time of service at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Grand Lake Community Church, Grand Lake, LA. "Pete" was born January 15, 1950, in Lake Charles, LA, to the late Lasin Houston and Beulah Mae Savoie Primeaux and passed in the comfort of his home November 18, 2012, DeRidder, LA, surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. He provided for his family working as a production hand on an oil rig with PSN/Wood Group for the past fourteen years. "Pete" always enjoyed the great outdoors, fishing, duck and alligator hunting. He always enjoyed spending quality time with his family especially with his children and grandchildren. "Pete" was preceded in death by his parents, maternal/paternal grandparents. Left to cherish wonderful memories of "Pete" will be his beloved wife of twenty years; Cynthia Lee Sabo Primeaux, four children: Lanny Primeaux, Crystal Primeaux, Ronald Nunez, Jr. and wife Angie and Christy Willis and husband Donnie, four brothers: Ronald Primeaux and wife Shirley, J.T. Primeaux and wife Bobbie, Lonnie Primeaux and wife Carolyn and Jude Primeaux and wife Bernaline, one sister-in-law; Cotimenon Tina Delgado, twelve grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, along with many extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
